Hey, I'm Nihar!

I'm a senior at UT Austin studying computer science. I'm particularly interested in incredibly niche ways software can make our lives slightly easier.

In college, I help run UCF, the largest quantitative finance org on campus and and used to help manage esports for Longhorn Gaming, UT Austin's primary gaming organization.

In my free time, I like to read, try new restaurants, and play SSBM and TFT.

I've previously worked at:
  - Pavilion, where I created a tool to automatically extract offerings from government contracts to increase our coverage from 7% to 44% using OpenAI, Pinecone, Retool, and Numba
  - The Washington Post, where I created and conceptualized Keyword, the Post’s first original word game, now played by 65,000 people daily and 167,000 people weekly
